"As an artist one of the the things that interests me is the relationship of color and abstraction of form to the imagery that I encounter in my every day life. Some of the most ordinary things when reinterpreted can become extraordinary. As an artist the most important question for me to be able to answer about my work is whether or not it is honest. If it is, the work evolves in a way that is engaging and uplifting if it isn't it just isn't worth doing."
